ANTIQUE HICKORY GOLF CLUBS - for the serious collector and hickory player.

Welcome to Antique Hickory Golf Clubs located near to the City of Perth, Scotland, where in 1502 King James 1V of Scotland was the first recorded named person to have played golf on or nearby the grounds of Scone Palace which was 50 years prior to people being given the right to play on the links at St. Andrews.

We specialize in the sale of vintage hickory golf clubs to include Woods, Irons and Putters produced during the period from 1860 to 1935 by the great club makers of that time such as Tom Morris, Robert Forgan, George Nicoll, Tom Stewart, William Gibson, Robert Simpson and Willie Park to name just a few. The site lists rare and unusual clubs for the discerning collector and for the enthusiastic hickory player there is an extensive collection of both individual Play Clubs & Play Sets restored ready for the bag. We also offer Canvas & Leather Golf Bags and Head Covers, plus New Mesh & Dimple Balls for Hickory Play similar to the rubber-core balls used in the 1920's. For the reader please go to the link Books About Hickory Golf where you will find an interesting selection with subjects ranging from the hickory era, the history and development of golf through the ages and humorous stories from the men who suffered most - the caddies.
