POSTAL CHARGES, PACKAGING, PAYMENT & RETURNS
PACKAGING & COURIERS
Upon receipt of your payment the item(s) will be carefully packed in bubble wrap and then depending on the item will be placed in either a sturdy cardboard box with the ends well taped for total security, or in a well sealed waterproof jiffy bag.
For deliveries to the UK mainland we use ParcelForce, City Link or The Royal Mail 2nd class service depending on the size and weight of the item purchased.
For overseas deliveries we use various well known shippers such as UPS, Fedex, Parcel Force and Royal Mail. Delivery will normally be 3 to 5 days which does not include the collection day and does not include Saturday & Sunday. The 3 to 5 working day delivery service can take slightly longer depending on the final destination or if there is a problem with the couriers service which is out of my control.
The price shown against each item on the site does NOT include postage. The additional postage charge (see prices below) will be added on the 'Shopping Cart' page when the country of destination has been selected from the drop down menu and the 'Update Totals' link has been clicked. The grand total figure will then include the postage charge.
All deliveries are insured at no extra cost to the buyer giving you peace of mind that in the event that should an item(s) be lost or damaged during the delivery process you will be refunded in full. When the parcel arrives please check the condition of the parcel before signing for the delivery. This is most important because the courier will not accept liability for damage if the parcel is signed for in good condition and then a complaint is lodged at a later date. If this happens then I will not be able to claim from the courier which means that I will be unable to refund yourself.
Save postage costs when you order more than one item. Contact me for a postal quote BEFORE ordering.
Upon arrival of your order it is very important that before you sign for the goods you fully check the packaging for any signs of damage as this will need to be noted at the time of delivery to enable us to claim compensation from the carrier in case the enclosed item is also found to be damaged.
The carrier will not entertain a claim unless damage is recorded at the time of delivery.
Payment can be made safely online with PayPal using any major credit/debit card. When you have completed your purchase you will be directed to a secure payment page. All payments are made in GBP, international transactions will be converted to GBP automatically by PayPal making it easy for you to use. You do not need to have a PayPal account.
Alternatively if you are in the UK, you can phone your order through and pay by cheque and the goods will be dispatched as soon as the cheque has been cleared through the bank which normally takes 7 working days, not including weekends and Bank holidays. Payment can also be made by Direct Bank Transfer. Should you require to use this method then please contact/email me so that I can send you an invoice showing the necessary details.
IMPORT TAXES & OTHER TAXES
Any taxes or import duties due upon arrival of the goods at the port of entry or your locality are for the buyer's account. We take no responsibility for paying such items.
RETURNS POLICY & PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
We take every effort when describing the items listed on this site that the details are accurate and true so you will not be disappointed upon arrival with yourself. However should for some reason you feel that the item is not as described then please contact us so that we can arrange for the return of the item and credit your account (excluding shipping costs) as long at the item is returned back to us within a 28 day period from the date of despatch and is in the same condition before despatch took place from our premises.
