I first played golf with hickories under my father’s tutelage more than 60 years ago. In the autumn of my days (I call it high summer) I decided to return to my roots and seek out a play set of hickory clubs. But where to begin?
By accident, but by great good fortune, I found ‘Antique Hickory Golf Clubs’. I have come to know, by correspondence, followed by purchases, that the proprietors, JC Bowers and GW Griffiths, are knowledgeable, highly skilled in restoring what can only be described as treasures, and genuinely interested in customer satisfaction and feedback.
